Glad to see the "Vibe" might be returning to the springs. I was so bummed last year when folks were packing in a full house worth of stuff to camp for the weekend.by GT Soaker - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California

I believe the old toll road, 173, from Hesperia has been shut. It has been gated and locked just pass the spill way(downhill side, north end) and gated and locked just past the Bradford Ridge Trail head when headed southbound, downhill. I could be wrong, but it was the last time I checked.by GT Soaker - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California
Quoteneogeo I always loved Sandy Hook (Gunnison) during my years living in NYC. I came to prefer Lighthouse Beach (now being persecuted like San Onofre). But Sandy Hook is a fantastic nude beach, and has lifeguards and concessions selling beer and food. It's what every nude beach that is populated as opposed to wild should have! I hiked through a pretty good swarm of bees right at Bradford Spring about two weeks ago. Sounded like their hive was in the stump of the old scrub oak right at the switch back. Had a couple of them get caught in my hair right behind my ear- sounded like they were all attacking- got a pretty nasty sting on the forearm.by GT Soaker - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California
