I am well versed on Bagby. My father has taken there since I wasvery young.
His name Philip Putz, actually built one of the.original tubs. Also, one log cabin was built by him in 1913.
He used to be the first in, in the spring.
He would run a pack horse train from Oregon City, and cut a trail for others to follow for the year.
Peple should preserve this area. It is, and has been a very special place.
