That is a total bummer. Toads win out over people? Sheesh...I'll be writing the FS about this. They need to have the Divide Peak gate OPEN and close the road at the bottom of the mountain, that way people can park there and its a flat shorter hike or bike to Big Caliente and Little Caliente.
