Joel since you ruled out Big and Litle Caliente,P-Bar campground would not work out for you. One other Santa Barbara possibility is to get one of the nice campsites at Gaviota State Beach, which is not too far from the parking area for Gaviota Hot springs. It's a short uphill hike to the springs. Or consider going north to Mercey Hot springs.
