Thanks very much to Madrox for posting about this way back when. It made me put Jordan Hot Springs on my bucket list of springs to check out, and it certainly delivered. My brother flew in from Arizona Friday night of Labor Day Weekend, we hiked in on Saturday, hung out at the springs all day Sunday, and then hiked back out again on Monday.
Very nice place, and just difficult enough to get to that most of your typical riff-raff were not there. There were two other backpackers' campsites set up near the springs. One group kept to themselves, and the other group was a pair of nice folks from Glendale (just next door to me in Pasadena!).
The "foot-soaker" tub at the springs was 116 degrees F. The actual soaking tub was 96 degrees F.
We also checked out the waterfall that Madrox mentioned in his earlier post. Very much worth seeing.
All in all a good time.
Joel
