I was just at this warm spring on June 28, and it was just fine. The fires apparently didn't affect the area around the spring, though you can see a little bit of the damage as you're driving along highway 101.
(I didn't see the port-o-john near the beginning of the trail, though....I wonder if they're going to put one back in.)
