Oh yea...i forgot about this place. I was driving home from Morro Bay late at night a couple of weeks ago and stopped at gaviota hot springs for a short break. It was about 1am and I was a little paranoid about getting rousted so I didnt hike up there to soak. It was very quiet however with that majical sound of water running down the creek under the trees illuminated with full moonlight. Ranger Butzkiss was nowhere around . Next time I might park up the road in the bushes and sneak a soak.
