Here we go again with more rain and wind in the forcast. Today was an exception however, and the day was perfect for January. Round Mountain was sporting a fresh white coat against a very blue sky. The Village escaped the heavy snow that blankets the higher elevations. The animals were out and about and two refugee deer were observed munching on some fresh greens below the snowline today. Anyone brave enough to venture into Deep Creek canyon should be prepared for yet another major winter storm starting tomorrow.
