Thanks Rick. Weather forcasts do make a difference between life and death for backcountry travellers who pay attention. Warm rain on snow accelerates the meltdown, increasing the danger. This storm has potential to "stall out" and drop heavy amounts of rain. The Arrowbear and Lake Arrowhead areas recieve a much heavier rainfall total resulting in increased danger for unsuspecting hotspringers.
