Ryan, unfortunately, a few people or groups like you witnessed can really jeopardize the soaking experience and future public access to Deep Creek Hot Springs. Ideally, you should still report the gunfire and description of the 18 year old and female to Forest Service Ranger Brad Burns at bburns @fs.fed.us. Even better if you had their license plate number. No one should have been camping down there overnight to begin with.
