Great trip report Wind Song! Very interesting to hear about these activities at DCHS during this unusually intense snowfall. I'm sure it was a beautiful sight down there with all of the fresh snow! Its apparent that the other folks definity fared better due to your aid. I appreciate your words of caring for the well being of these special springs, that is really refreshing to hear. I am just wondering if you were the person I photographed swimming across the creek the day I met you and your friends. Even though swimming across the creek was chilly, it was in the end your best choice for getting out of there in a timely manner. Once you made your decision, you all went across in a quick matter, that was nice to see. Alot of folks are much less decisive, making thier situation worse than it could be. Thanks for your efforts in removing trash from the area. Its caring individual volunteers like you that really make a differance down there at these great hotsprings :-) Thanks again for sharing your adventure with us!
