Since the "Old Fire" which burned 56 acres in Cedar Glen, the County Board of Supervisors and Supervisor Hansberger want to suggest that the communities in the San Bernardino Mountains are "urbanized". If these areas can be classified as "urban", the County of San Bernardino can redevelop the area with over $41 million in roads, $50 million on new sewer and water lines, and thousands of new homes.
The Board of Supervisors recently imposed trash service on all mountain residents, one of the conditions needed for "urbanized". Several citizens were able to uncover that Supervisor Hansberger has a conflict of interest in even suggesting this redevelopment project.
