At the Wizard's pictures link below, page 20 there is a handful of photos I believe were taken during the same snowfall shown in Rick's photo. As I remember, I think Rick and I were up there on the same day ( a Sunday? ). I had gone up a bit earlier in the day trying to make it up to DCHS to get some snow shots. You can see in one of my photo's how deep the snow was with my Red F-150 stuck in it. I tried three differant routes that day but the snow was just too deep. There are also a couple of cool photos showing ice on rocks in the creek near DCHS. A couple of other photos show snowfall from the same storm in an area on the east side of Granite Mountains. I went out there that night to a remote area to see the beautiful snowfall on everything. That snowfall was so big that it broke the branches of trees down in the Deep Creek canyon.
