I do remember the days, 38 years ago, when Mrs. Bowen collected $1 per person at the Bowen Ranchhouse. I wished I had captured that lovely lady on film. She was really special.

People did ride motorcycles down to the springs in the 70s, occasionally using the goat trail, but usually by way of the wide road upstream, now closed thank goodness.
