These birds are born wary....and not because of a few hunters. They are selection #1 on the menu for hawks and bobcats as well as a lucky coyote. Not easy to shoot though, there very smart and scatter quickly. Looks like youre gonna need that shotgun with all of those rodents around those new plantings at the new homestead Mr Wizard. A water source just attracts more. Ground squirles get no mercy from this ol desert survivor.
