Yes I did use the bag Ron, but perhaps I put a bit too much glue in it! I'm feeling much better now, and free will, or no free will, there's fun to be had, and trash to clean up at DCHS, so onward we must go, To Infinity And Beyond! Regarding the dry portion of Deep Creek that I came across, it was a good distance upstream from DCHS. It is an area that I frequent from time to time and I was quite supprised to see the stream bed there was bone dry. I did not specifically look for Mosquito larvae but the standing water I did see in a couple of places in this dry section of the creek, did look prime for thier breeding. These pools were stagnant and green with algae. Last weekend Darcy and I checked out Hoover Dam, and lake Mead is incredibley low! I heard that its 100 feet below normal. I also heard that a moderate El Nino may be brewing this year. Hopefully Deep Creek will get some much needed flooding to clean out the creek bed. I did take one photo during my hike yesterday and its at the Wizard's pictures link, page 49, fourth picture. I should have taken some down photos on the creek, the oasis it is was lookin so fine, but I was enjoying the sunshine and the beautiful scenery so much I completely forgot! At one long pool I was swimming in there was a wonderful abundance of dragon fly's, they always make the atmosphere a bit more magical :-) Take it easy Mr Ron, I'll see ya at OZ before long I'm sure!
