Either late Saturday night or early Sunday morning, a northbound late model white Ford F-150 4X4 was totaled on Deadman's curve. The unfortunate owner had a big investment in race gear, huge tires, etc. The truck left the roadway and landed heavily on the left front tire, tearing it from the vehicle. The truck then either rolled or tumbled its way to total destruction, leaving a path of debris. Not one pane of glass survived intact, and even the mirrors were torn off. Tough luck for someone who obviously loved their truck, but was driving too fast on an unfamiliar road.
Or was it unfamiliar? Does this vehicle fit the description of the one seen trespass hillclimbing at the Village entrance and in Arrastre Canyon a few weeks ago?
