Another moonlight hike is being planned by Friends of Juniper Flats for Saturday August 28. This will be two days before full moon, but should give us an early moonrise time and be a convenient day of the week for it.
In fact, our webmaster can probably tell us just what time the moon will rise that night. How about it, Rick?
Participants will meet at 6:30 at the corner of Bowen Ranch Road and Round Up Way and caravan from there promptly to begin the hike by sunset. Moderate difficulty. Long pants are strongly recommended for hiking cross-country. Also bring drinking water and a snack if you like.
