Baja sounds great. Was the fish you ate for dinner a tuna? You sure do catch some tasty tuna.

Moonlight hike: Thanks for posting this, brother Bear. I'm looking forward to this hike, even though I will be at the DCV meeting and will already have hiked out from there. Two possible destinations have been discussed, and it will be left up to the energy level of participants which one is taken. The possibility of spotting some wildlife is high either way.

What to bring: Besides the water and hiking boots mentioned above, long pants are recommended, a snack might be advisable, and a pair of binoculars might be useful. Desert plants, wildlife, and the habits of former Native American inhabitants (Amutcakaiem) will be discussed at the beginning of the hike.
