Sorry for the trouble getting to the photos. The originals were sized at almost 3 MB each so the USFS or DCV could use them for publication with no loss of quality. I resized a representative number of the originals and uploaded them on the Sony Imagestation site. I sent CDs including all the originals to Ron Mercer, our DCV fearless leader, and Denise Branda of the Forest Service. I didn't resize all of full-sized files since many were of the same subject or subjects. For example, everywhere I pointed the camera Ron Mercer ended up in the shots. Hell, I had more photos of our swarthy, sweating Argentinean than I did of the cute, young USFS botanists.... and I was trying to shoot them!

(by the way, has anyone checked the stumps for new growth?)
