from what you're saying here, it does seem like there has been a misjustice. i looked it up, and you're right! there is no law on the books that makes being a fraidy cat of snakes illegal. on the other hand if you were charged with driving around in a motor vehicle, in possession of a loaded weapon, well.... that's illegal!

i'm a gun owner too! and even though i don't agree with some of the gun laws, they are laws, you can be arrested for breaking them. i'm not saying don't drive around with a gun, but if you're caught and arrested, buck up and take your lumps.

as gun owners it's our responsibility to know the laws. everytime someone gets caught breaking a gun law, you can bet it goes into a data base, which the establishment that you and i both have a problem with will use to drive another nail into the coffin of gun ownership.
