Sycamore, great trip report and thanks for all of your diligent efforts to help DCHS :-) So this channel that has been cut, does it look like it was intended for walking access off the grass area to the Aniversary pool? There was already an easy way to get to the pool from that general area, from around the Alder trees that are now gone, having died in the drought, then being cut down by Scott. How many of Scott's Tepee poles are left now? After our next DCV meeting at DCHS, Ron and I should be able to carry out some more of the items we found in Family Canyon, and stashed temporarily near DCHS. I really enjoy hearing about the careing folks who go beyond what they should have to do, to take care of those splendid springs :-)
