I think we need to initiate a public information campaign where we petition the responsible government agencies to erect more signs directing motorized vehicles to stay on open trails only and providing maps of those open trails. In addition, we need to petition the government agencies to provide random patrols in the area to assist with the public education.

We would have more force and effect with the assistance of CORVA California Off Road Vehicle Association. The president, Ed Waldheim, does not approve of those who would take their vehicles off the open routes. Those individuals are jeopardizing the rights of other OHV enthusiasts. CORVA has worked in the past with the BLM and private land owners over the same concerns at El Mirage Lake.

Seriously, they would help with this abuse.
