Give the guy a break ---- Scott does a nice job of cleaning up and maintaining the deep creek area. He has taken lots of personal responsibility for what some slacking visitors do. His dam idea is actually a recreation of what was there many years ago and I believe he is aware that it is just a tempory thing - it would never last a spring flood. His residence is sometimes at family camp but more often up on the hill in his RV. As for the legality - uh yes what he is doing is illegal but any of us who stay after dark or those who participate in recreational drug use are no less illegal. Scott is polite, clean and not pushy about his business venture. He has created a creative avenue for him to make money, provide a service while he benefits from the beauty and spiritual gifts of the springs. And in my opinion the springs benefit more from his service and respect for the springs than many of the inconsiderate slackers that frequently trash this place.
Live and let live,
D
