There is a difference between 1 flat and 4 flats. Roofing nails do not immediately flatten tires, they have to work their way into the tire.
The point is that the article stated that there were four damaged tires and you and Laughingbear deflated that to four flat tires. Then you and Laughingbear used the four flat tires to discredit the BLM and the news reporter.

Hey.....wait a minute. How did Harold Johnson get 4 flat tires on J1299 driving a BLM truck?..........The orchestration of this event is self evident. Shame on Louis Sahagun and the LA times for buying the scam in order to sell more papers.

This ridiculous and patently false scenario was intended to discredit opposition to lawless riding habits supported by rogue elements in the BLM Barstow Field Office.
Harold Johnson and Barry Nelson may find this allegation to be their Watergate. They have threatened federal investigations in an attempt to intimidate, but may find soon themselves the object of a Congressional investigation.
Look for the current smugness in the BLM Barstow Field Office to be replaced by scattered chairs and a scramble for the exits.
