Re: Fire Cloud

My wifes brother who lives in the Mammoth Lakes community up north, called this evening at 5PM, he told me it was currently snowing at his home there. I told him that down here near our ski slopes at Big Bear, a big forest fire was burning. Quite a contrast on this 25th day of march. The way the vegetation was burning today up in that high country in the snow, is a sure sign that the trees and bushes up there are still very dry, with countless diseased trees. In 5 months we will be into the heart of the hot summer. Its looking like our forest lands may be a waiting powder keg, like the were before the huge fires of last year.
