Re: Fire Cloud

At 4PM Channel 7 is showing ariel coverage of the fire near Big Bear Lake. It is currently burning mostly on the south side of Sugar Loaf Mtn and south of the Bear Mtn ski area. The snow has mostly melted on the south side of Sugarloaf due to its southern exposure so the fire is burning more intensely there, but on the high ridges and northside, there is still snow on the ground, which has slowed the fire. You see shots of trees and bushes burning with snow below them. The fire is currently burning mostly easterly across the southern side of Sugarloaf Mtn. One ski patrol structure burned, no injuries reported.
