CAR VANDALISM

This weekend we had a lovely time at the springs and invited our friends to join us. We drove in Saturday with separate cars since our friends were only staying for the day and we were spending the night. Our friends parked their car at the intersection of J4 and J6 (off the road) about 2 miles past Bowen Ranch, and when they returned at nightfall on Saturday they found their rear window had been smashed in. At this point I would appreciate it if anyone on this board can point us in the right direction in terms of notifying the proper authorities. I'm not sure who has jurisdiction over the Deep Creek area. I have read reports on this message board of people who have had their tires slashed when they parked up on the hill but not in the Bowen Ranch area. There have been a lot of accusations about people being violent up there, and I don't know anything about it firsthand. But if anyone has any information they would like to share with me about possible suspects, please email me by clicking on my name. Any help would be appreciated. While it is only a rear window, it is upsetting that there are people cruising that area above the springs that are capable of doing something like this to another human being. Needless to say, this makes one reconsider whether the beauty and wonder of a place like Deep Creek is worth placing yourself in harm's way. Thank you in advance.
