Actually Sycamore, the photo above was taken with my new toy ( digital camera ), on my hike to Deep Creek, Friday, 3-19. It is one of the five new ones I put a the Wizard's pictures link. Thanks to Rick for including it here at the DCHS forum :-) Rick, the bees are out for sure, and on my hike into the canyon on Friday I came across a big Bumble Bee, Black and Yellow, working some yellow flowers. This big bee would land on the flowers and the weight of its size would cause the flower, on its stem, to sag a couple of inches. I have never found them to be aggressive, they just move on if you get too close. I remember those rains of 92. The growth of everything was amazing. I have a photo I took that spring up in the area of the Moss Mill and everything was so green and lush it hardly looked like the desert. I'd post that picture, but finding it in my piles of pics would take some time :-)
