It goes without saying that Ranger Nelson has been (and remains) hostile to all persons in the Barstow Field office charged with resource protection. He has forced some to leave and humiliated others.
His bitterness is similarly visited on private property owners who are concerned for adjoining public lands.
He is hostile to all resource protection projects, including this fence project.
His disdain for protection of Cottonwood Springs is reflected in his dedication to placing an illegal dirt bike route through its heart.
He is not only a cancer on Juniper Flats, he is a cancer in the Barstow Field Office.
