DCR, If you look at picture #1 on page one of the link below " Wizards pictures " it shows pretty clearly what I'm talking about. In this pic behind the snow covered bush in the foreground is a ridge, this is the ridge that the barbed wire fence runs along. If you followed the fence down the ridge to the gap between the first hill and the small hill just behind it you would find the spot your talking about. I cut left to the Bowen trail at a spot on this ridge out of the picture to the left. Another thing of interest in this same picture is that you can see the kinely Creek Canyon droping into Deep Creek at the far right just above center. Also if you look above the snow covered bush in the foreground almost all the way to the top of the picture there is a low spot in the white snow covered hills where a Mtn. with trees can be seen far in the distance. This is the point where the Bradford ridge trail crosses this gap and heads for the Kinely Canyon and on to 173. This picture was taken on the trail I use from Route 3.
