I never had the problem until after the Willow Fire. My solution has been a 2-liter bottle of tap water to which I add a bit of lemon juice. I rinse with it soaking and it seems to help me a lot.
Somehow I didn't really freeze in Ohio but I'm still hoping for a soak soon. And happy (late) birthday to you Wiz!
