The Moose read the minutes of the DCV meeting, and noted that lack of OHV enforcement by BLM continues to be an issue. BLM is an Agency within the Interior Department, and Interior's law enforcement operations are in complete disarray Department-wide. Anybody who wants a quick overview of this situation, which should upset all people who are concerned about our country's natural resources, can access "www.honestchief.com" and read about the firing of U.S. Park Police Chief Theresa Chambers. Take particular note of the press release from the Ranger Lodge of the Franternal Order of Police. Note also that situations similar to the Chief Chambers case have been happening unchecked in BLM's Barstow office.
