Miguel, Deep Creek Volunteers and others have been working very closely with the USFS on the re-opening of Deep Creek. Right now, we must all exercise patience. Appropriate USFS staff are still on their Christmas vacations. They will be returning after January 5th, and that is when we expect the decision will be made to re-open. Again, please be patient -I encourage you and others not to visit Deep Creek and violate the closure. That could jeopardize the re-opening as well as the entire future of Deep Creek.
