Respect of the closure is being emphasised by not only the DCV but by the owner of Bowen Ranch as well. I observed a recently revised flyer being given to patrons of the Bowen Ranch campground informing them of the USFS closure. Bottom line is it's up to each and every individual to respect the current closure. Seeing the Soaknet information gets the word out. Compliance with USFS regulations promotes their cooperation in responding to our stated desire to have the closure lifted. Our case is based upon good science.....Deep Creek Hot Springs was not affected by the fire and should be excluded from access restrictions.
On another note....the Anniversary pool has been repaired.
