Yesterday evening I read Sycamores post expressing her opinion that we should finalize our choice for meeting time and place. Then a little later, I saw that Laughing Bear posted " Meeting place is on the corner of Cascade trail at the signpost " and, " meeting time is 11:30 ", indicating the meeting time and place had been decided upon causing me to ask the questions of my previous post here in this thread. After I did the post above I checked my e-mail and this morning I have a new e-mail from Ron of the DCV group stating that " suggestions " about the meeting place have been made, that he ( Ron ) is inclined towards Laughing Bears location " suggestion ", and he ( Ron ) " suggest " a time for the meeting of 11:30 AM. Ron then goes on to say that those wishing to attend should contact the DCV e-mail to indicate if Laughing Bears location " suggestion ", and his ( Ron's ) time " suggestion " are acceptable to the other attending members for a time and place for this months meeting. Ron also mentions the idea that the decision would be based on a majority indications of those attending, which is the way, in my opinion, the decision of time and place of meetings ( outside of the normal last Saturday of the month at 1:00 PM meetings ) should be decided. A deadline of course is necesary for suggestions to be considered. If this is to be differant then I think the group should come up with alternatives, get input on the possibilities, and then decide upon a method for determining place and time of these out of the norm meetings, based on consensus, or, if that cannot be acheived, then based on the majority interest.
