Mojavegreen and LaughingBear talk out of both sides of their mouth when it comes to Chief Law Enforcement Ranger Barry Nelson's activities in the Juniper Flats area. It all depends on what side of the fence they are on at the time. When it comes to Mike Castro conducting volunteer law enforcement (illegally) in the Deep Creek area on behalf of Chief Law Enforcement Ranger Barry Nelson, Mike Castro is to be commended. After all, the government agencies do not have the resources to provide law enforcement in the area.

Never mind the fact that it is illegal for an ordinary citizen to conduct volunteer law enforcement activities on behalf of a government agency. Never mind the fact that Mike Castro uses threats of violence and violence in his volunteer law enforcement activities. Never mind that Mike Castro is committing crimes. Whatever it takes to rid Deep Creek of the scofflaw campers and their ilk

Let's forget about the huge moto-cross race held by Mike Castro in 1994. They overlook the fact that Mike Castro is a dirt bike enthusiast and skilled rider who rides his bike down to the hotsprings on a regular basis and cross country. Never mind that Mike Castro held about 15 commercial rave parties in the 1990's. Never mind that Mike Castro has a very close relationship with Ranger Barry Nelson. When it comes to Mike Castro they overlook what Mike Castro may be doing for this same Chief Law Enforcement Ranger with regard to Deep Creek. Never mind that the BLM cite the violent conflicts involving Mike Castro and the public as reasons for their new management plans.

Never mind that the BLM created the scene for conflict between Mike Castro and the public over access on Moss Mill Road. Never mind that LaughingBear now mentions that Ranger Barry Nelson is creating the scene for conflict between the residents and the off road motorcyclists.

>>Some people think the desert should provide a haven for scofflaws.

And yet both Mojavegreen and LaughingBear see no violation of rules or identify any scofflaws with regard to Mike Castro's illegal activities done on behalf of Chief Law Enforcement Ranger Barry Nelson. There is no special treatment there, no scofflaws either. The rules are for everyone? Isn't that interesting?
