People share information, its a good thing, it is important. So in light of this some " new " information reminds of past things, specifically, an article from 7-20-2002, done by Emmett Berg, titled " Not everyone gets into Deep Creeks Pools ". In that article we see that BLM enforcement ranger Barry Nelson ( for the DCHS area ) states " We hear that Castro has taken a " VERY " hard line in enforcing Forest Service and BLM rules ". Well, today the Forest Service says DCHS is closed, the Bowen Ranch however, is still, on 11-22-2003, as seen by my own eyes, a place for access to DCHS, despite its closure by the USFS. Is a phone call such a hard thing for Mike Castro? It is my belief that Mike Castro has " used " the local agencies for his benifit. Where is the " Hard Line ", in reference to Mike Castro, as spoken of by BLM ranger Barry Nelson?
