I said I would post the info about the BLM meetings when I did the DCV meeting minutes. Sorry I took so long...just a bit preoccupied with fire. Here's the info:
Tuesday Nov. 4th at 7pm and Friday November 21 at 7pm at the Apple Valley City Hall Recreation Center at 14955 Dale Evans Parkway. (there is a Dale Evans exit off the 15, or you can get there off Highway 18)
The topic here is route designations. If you are concerned about OHV trail proliferation or trail J1299 through the Cottonwood Spring ACEC (area of critical environmental concern), you may wish to attend. The meetings were not publicly announced, because the BLM added a motorcycle route (J1299) after the public comment period had ended, so they have now invited people who commented on that route. The public is welcome, however, although comments may be limited.
