I interpreted you to be critical of the stone figures at the Rock Springs Ranch gate. However, if by "silly", you were merely saying that these whimsical figures seem to be on the move and you are not offended by their new home, my apologies.

For those of you are offended by stone art, ease your irritation by doing an about-face at the ranch gate and observe the huge boulder field to the immediate north, dynamited courtesy of Southern California Edison.
