Off the subject, but which is better...

Hi! I know it's off the subject but since so many Deep Creek visitors also
visited other springs, I decided to ask.

I've read a couple of articles in this forum on Big and Little Caliente.
Which one would you recommend? Also, do I need the Forrest Permits
for day use only and for parking in the parking lot(no camping); and if I do, where can I buy one?

I will also be visiting Bridgeport next week and was wandering which one is better - Buck Eye or Traverstine? Also, do I need the Forrest Permits

My yahoo maps estimates the drive to Bridgeport at over 8 hours for only 360 miles. I've never driven on hwy 395 and was wandering why it's not as fast as Hwy 15?

Any help/info is greatly appreciated.
