Thanks for responding Auggie. I guess the proposed J 1299 trail wont be included under the RS 2477 ruling. This trail was non existant until recent times. Having owned property in the area since the late 70s I can assure you all that. I am a firm believer in public access to public lands and in no way do I want to shut people out of Cottonwood Springs. I just want to see laws against OHV abuse enforced. This is the only way we will protect our heritage. Does our society reward people for breaking the law? It seems from your recent post your position that the proposed J1299 has your blessings. Listen to the people who own property and pay taxes within the first district. We do not want motorcycles chewing up our neighborhoods. That is why the off road areas have been created in remote areas where there is no private property. Please let Mr Postmus know, after all....we do vote and pay his salary.
