Cool your jets, Mr. Auggie

I posted the article without comment. There is no reference to bears, hibernating or otherwise and I do not recall anyone calling Cottonwood Springs a wilderness. The fence you speak of was installed by the BLM grazing leasee to keep his cattle off private property.

No one is saying that the private property owners have more of a say than the general public. However, residents of Juniper Flats have the right to be heard the same as you do. If you have harsh words or needs that haven't been addressed, submit your comment, ask for an extension of this planning effort and make your point.

There are already existing open routes across Juniper Flats. A great number of OHV users respect these trails, others treat Juniper like an open riding area and bring discredit to the OHV community.

We are asking for deletion of a single redundant trail that threatens a historic property. It has never been an open trail. The proposal to open it flies in the face of every BLM management guideline for the area. It conflicts with state law for the preservation of historical assets. What is your justification for asking that it be opened?

This herring was thrown on the table at the last minute. Is that last minute play outside the public forum the dirty dealing that you are talking about?

Going into a rant on this forum has no purpose other than to make you look bad.
