Despite your doubts Dan I did write the above message. You accuse me wrongly when you speek of plagiarism. I know you have no information that would honestly indicate that I would have done such a thing because I know " the truth ". It was not my goal to spell everything " perfectly " rather, it was my aim to spell as best I could so as not to take away from communicating my point. I must admit that I did have to utilize my dictionary and thesaurus a number of times in putting the peice together. I normally don't concern myself to much with spelling but considered the importance of this subject to be worthy of the extra time spent in finding the words I wanted to use and in getting them spelled correctly. Did I actually get all the words spelled right all by myself, that is truly amazing :-) This destructive event was made even more real for me because on a trip a few years ago my wife and I spent time on top of WTC 2 which had a veiwing platform. I considered it such a privilege and a testament of the freedom of our land to be allowed to stand on top of one of these monuments to the creative power of the rich minds that inhabit our country. The veiw of the whole length of Manhattan island and beyond was astounding and looking down to the city streets below from this mountain of a building was no less awesome. I stayed home from work the whole day on 9-11-01 to watch the unfolding horror that brought down WTC 1and 2. Many times I felt for those poor people who were clinging to the outside of these structures, 100 or more floors above the city which was so far below. I know that veiw from a position of saftey behind the veiwing platform fence. We descended through the heart of this marvelous creation ( WTC 2 ) of our fellow Americans and I remember walking outside and I looked straight up the side of these two massive towers. I stood there and felt so taken that people have it within them to accomplish the raising of splendid edifices such as these. Curiously the thought did cross my mind while looking up the side of these two pinnacles that reach the sky, what would happen if they collasped?
