No plans to close the forest Gary. The last few days we have recieved rain in areas of the local desert and mountains. Deep Creek was spared from the flash floods but Yucca Valley and Lancaster got hit really hard. As you have probably read, some of the local residents are working together to protect a sacred native cultural site but other than that, not much else going on. Oh yea....the road grader came last week!
