This is a District level process. Your previous complaints were submitted at Barstow Area level which is the lowest level.
I emphasize. This is the Final EIR/S and is District Level. If Barry Nelson, the Barstow Area Chief BLM Law Enforcement Ranger has not responded to your complaints, this is your last opportunity to air that grievance. Be assured, yours is a common complaint.
If you feel that favoritism is being shown by BLM in its OHV enforcement policy, then this is your last opportunity to get a formal response.
This is the last chance to ask for a separate and comprehensive planning effort to address the resolve the conflicts over recreational use adjacent to the Hot Springs. If this single OHV trail is stopped, it will put Juniper Flats back on the public table. If we fail to take action, the OHV community will have struck at the heart of this ancient cultural area and won.
If you care for the future of Juniper Flats and the protection of Deep Creek Hot Springs from OHV intrusion, please voice your appeal for a separate, comprehensive planning process and the closure of this trail.
