Hey Wiz, liked your pictures on page seven. You leave no doubt in my mind of who you are with your story of the Willow Fire!
We visited the springs on Sept 1 that year. We were anxious to learn how the area had survived. We were heart-broken by what the fire had destroyed and relieved to see that the main area around the springs had survived. Our pictures looked a lot like the one you posted. Katrina has copies of our pictures ... before her web-site was changed, she had them posted. We hiked into the main area and further upstream to see what had happened there as well.
I hope we never have to live through another fire! (And all that mud!!)
