I think the forum and the internet as a whole can be a great tool for sharing technology and information. But, like all great inventions, it can be abused and used for negative purposes as well. As I've said before, when we can hide behind the safety of the faceless monitor/keyboard, miles away from our detractors, even the best amongst us can easily get caught up in a flame war that we would in NO WAY become involved with when talking to a person in the flesh... or in the textiles ;o) You get the picture...

This technology can be a very cold and impersonal way to communicate with one another, as we have seen here.

Best to show up at Deep Creek and talk about differences and solve problems together rather than flinging barbs across the ethernet.
