I cannot believe what I have been reading on this forum. Are the lunatics running the asylum? Shame on you, L.Bear and S.Laughing, for using insinuations and half truths to malign Wizard and his family.

Mrs. Wiz is the living model of a watchful, diligent Mom. In my experience she and the Wiz put the safety of the two kids above all else, without shackling them to the false values of a purely textile world.

I am scandalized to read the chickenshit, half-assed accusations that the "Laughing Twins" have concocted on this forum. Don't shake the history of this place in my face. Although I can't visit now on a weekly basis, I have been a regular visitor to DCHS since Mrs. Bowen first collected her $1 fee from me in 1970. In those 33 years I, at times, witnessed bad behavior around kids and when possible I acted on it. One guy did jail time because of the actions of other concerned springers and myself. Occasions like that were in the minority as the folks who made up the DCHS population were almost always painfully respectful of the privacy and dignity of others. That kind of behavior continues to exist today at DCHS.

In my opinion Mr & Mrs Wiz are very protective of their kids. Mrs Wiz, in particular, never takes her eyes off them and sometimes moves in to be close when she's not sure of the folks near them. In the 70's and 80's I hiked into the canyon many times with my daughters and would have stopped at nothing to protect them. I recognize that kind of motivation in Mr & Mrs Wiz.

I think that if possible children should be part of a safe, clothing optional environment, especially one with the breathtaking beauty of Deep Creek. My children, now grown young women, have very healthy attitudes about the human body largely because of their safe, healthy, summer days at the springs.

Unfortunately, this whole unhappy mess is part of the catfight over Mike Castro and the Bowen Ranch. What a Shame!
