On my last visit to the springs, Wizard and his dog Tuka came near my spot while I was fixing lunch. I could see the dog was wet and about to shake, and I said "No, Tuka and tried to protect my food. Wizard was very near but did not call his dog; just stood there grinning while Tuka shook her droplets all over the food. Personally, I love the dog, but it is hard to understand how people can not see that unsupervised dogs can be a nuisance, and not just because someone left their food lying around.
